Before I head out today to shoot the wedding of Mike and Kristina I wanted to post the wedding I just finished up editing. Last weekend we shot a wedding at the Sugarbush Resort for the first time and it was spectacular! The resort is so beautiful with tons of spots for portraits and a green mountain as a backdrop. And we timed the weather perfectly to finish the outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour just before it started raining.
Ashley had a real eye for design and it was important to her that I capture all of the special details that went into the day. I loooved her shoes, which I think you can tell.
This is little Pixie, their new puppy. She was passed out while the girls were getting ready and wrapped in a towel for warmth. So cute.
The shoes again.
The radiant bride.
Jason got some great shots of the guys.
Ashley and Lee had a “first look” moment before the ceremony and it was very emotional for both of them.
The resort has a brand new building with this super cool metal silo out front.
The lovely ladies…
Like I said, the weather held off for the outdoor ceremony which was a great spot.
Ashley walked down the aisle down a long staircase with the mountain in the background. It was just beautiful.
Despite the first look, there were plenty of tears.
Ashley’s sister also performed the ceremony making it extra special.
I love this one right outside the ticket booth.
Ashley wanted to try this shot out so we stepped outside at the end of the night to grab it. Congratulations to Ashley and Lee!!
